Active Health Treatment - Rehabilitative Therapy

Rehabilitative Therapy

Maidenhead Clinic

What is Rehabilitative Therapy?

Rehabilitative therapy is the application of exercise techniques to rehabilitate a wide range of injuries, whether they are sports related or posture related. This technique is not limited to the treatment of injuries however. The practitioner applies the techniques holistically to the needs of the client, whether the needs are purely weight loss or improved tone. This means the client can achieve their goal without compromising the health of other areas.

What to expect?

The practitioner will first discuss with you in detail what you want to achieve, how to achieve your goals and what time frame. He will then assess your current health and physical ability by performing an examination identifying weaknesses, postural strength, range of motion and any history that may contraindicate particular exercises. A tailor made program will then be provided and performed under strict supervision. Home exercises and stretches will be provided for the client to practice away from the clinic.
